Specialists in no-dig drain repair

There was a time when traditional pipe replacement was the only option for a drain repair. This involves digging up the existing pipework and replacing the faulty section. Now this is not the only option, although we continue to offer a full replacement service.

An MTS CCTV condition survey identifies when a drain repair is necessary and our experts in the office will advise on the best and most cost-effective option for you. Our repair option is ideal for customers who want to avoid the disruption of ground works and require minimal downtime for their drainage system.

  • Some obvious signs that you should have your drains checked include:
  • Unpleasant smells
  • Water or sewage backing up in the inspection chambers
  • Water rising in the toilet when flushed
  • Kitchen and bathroom sinks slow to drain
  • Large trees on the property

Some common drain-related issues include root incursion, cracked or damaged pipes and blockages. With no-dig drain repairs, these can be identified before they create major difficulties.

The “no dig” method involves inserting a liner impregnated with resin into the damaged pipeline. Once in position, the liner is inflated to create a strong layer inside the pipe. This gives a water tight repair, sealing and protecting the pipe from further deterioration. The process will return the drain to full functionality and can be used on clay, concrete, fibre glass, PVC, iron and steel pipes.

The pipe relining technology returns corroding, old pipes to better-than-new condition at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
